Mysterious Website Takedown

If you tried to go on the site today then you were probably greeted with a 404 error screen or a sign in page. Unless you were on my account of course, then it would show this.

Viewing the site on my own account

If you look at the small black banner at the top of the image it says, "This site has been taken down for viewing. This is due to its violation of the terms of service or programme policies. The content is blocked from being served to users." with an option to request an appeal which I of course did because I have literally no clue what I did wrong because Google for some reason will not tell me. As far as I can tell, the black banner seems to appear on every page.

Viewing the site in the editor

Looking at the website in the editor actually gives less info than the published one. Unless you're on a different account or not signed in at all since a little blue pop-up is probably more useful than a 404 page. Interestingly, this blue pop-up has the option to "Learn more". Clicking on it takes you to a page which tells you about the programme policies themselves but still doesn't tell you which ones you violated.

This actually isn't the first time this exact thing has happened. I think it happened back in December of 2025 when I was going on my website in school and it either came up with a 404 page or login screen, I logged in with my google account only to be greeted with the exact same thing as shown in the 2 images above.

Now, I do actually have 2 reasons as to how I think this could've happened.

1. Secret pages - Minor spoiler alert but some of the secret pages on this site have mentions of suicide. One of the programme policies is about violence and gore. However, this policy only talks about actually showing that gore which I do not and will not do. There are some parts that I guess describe the gore but they are encoded using some encryption techniques. Not gonna specify what those encryption techniques are, you have to find that out yourself. ;)

2. Images of me -  One of the policies is "Unauthorized Images of Minors" which basically says that you can't put images of minors on your website without permission from the child's parent, guardian, or legal representative. I'm 14, which means I'm a minor. However, I have permission from my mum to put funny pictures of myself on my website. So, yeah, maybe Google just doesn't know that. Well actually why would they know that, I haven't put anything on the website that outright says I have permission to do that. Now that I think about it, I should probably put a disclaimer somewhere on the site saying that, woops.

Overall, I'm leaning closer to reason #2 but idk. Hopefully this'll get sorted out soon.
